On the day of the funeral

On the day of the funeral, our funeral director and support staff will handle all the necessary preparations, ensuring that the service runs smoothly and on time. Our fleet of luxury limousines will transport your family to the service, while your loved one will be carefully prepared according to your wishes before being transferred to one of our high-quality hearses. Any floral tributes or portraits you’ve chosen for the funeral can also be placed on the coffin or alongside in the hearse.

During the funeral procession, which usually begins at the home of the deceased, we will make sure that all routes have been checked and there are enough pallbearers to respectfully convey or transfer the coffin into the church or crematorium or to the graveside. If you have any specific requests, such as a preferred route or stops at personal landmarks, we will do our best to accommodate them.

When you arrive at the church or crematorium, your funeral director will have taken care of all the details, including any music you’ve requested and the order of service sheets. They will coordinate with the service officiant and chapel/church attendants to ensure everything runs smoothly. The funeral director will lead you into the venue and make sure all guests seated before proceeding with the funeral service. Following on from the main service, you may have chosen to have a committal service at the same location or a different one, depending on whether it is a burial or cremation. Again, the funeral director and staff will be present to guide you and your guests through the proceedings.

We can provide a list of local venues for a wake or reception and will escort you to the chosen location.

In the days that follow, we will check in with you to ensure everything went smoothly, and we can provide advice on collecting ashes and selecting a memorial, as well as arranging for flower and wreath returns or placement.
